Partner terms
Version 1, effective 5 Oct 2026
This version takes effect on 5 Oct 2026
In short: The agreement between you and Mysuru Grandeur when you join as a referral partner: joining is free, you earn 10% commission on the boxes you help sell, commission is paid every Monday once the return window has passed, and you must always tell customers that you earn a commission.
These terms are the agreement between you and Mysuru Grandeur ("Mysuru Grandeur", "we", "us") when you join the Mysuru Grandeur partner programme. Please read them before you accept. If anything is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp at [to be published] or write to [to be published] before you sign up.
Three other documents form part of these terms: the Partner code of conduct, the Commission and rewards rules and our Privacy notice. If they ever disagree with these terms, these terms apply.
1. Joining is free
We never charge any joining, registration, training, kit, security-deposit or renewal fee. You never have to buy any product to join or to stay active. You earn only from completed, paid sales to genuine customers.
If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay. Report it to our Grievance Officer at [to be published].
2. Who can join
You can join if:
- you are 18 years or older and able to enter into a contract under section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
- you live in India; and
- you do not already have a partner account. Only one account is allowed for each person and each PAN.
Businesses such as hotels, restaurants and shops join through one person who is authorised to act for the business. That person accepts these terms on the business's behalf.
3. How you accept these terms
You accept these terms by ticking the box on the sign-up form and confirming with the one-time code we send to your mobile number or email. This is a valid electronic contract under section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We keep a record of the version you accepted, the date and time, and the device used, so either of us can prove what was agreed.
4. Verifying who you are
Before we pay you, we need to verify you. We ask for:
- your full name, date of birth, mobile number and a clear photo of you;
- one identity document: PAN card, driving licence, voter ID or passport. We do not accept Aadhaar, and we never ask for your Aadhaar number;
- the bank account or UPI ID where you want to be paid. It must be in your own name (or your business's name). We check that the name matches.
We delete the images of your identity document 30 days after we finish reviewing them. We keep only the type of document, its last few characters and our decision.
PAN. Your PAN is needed before we can pay you once your commission in a financial year (April to March) reaches ₹15,000. Until you add it, payouts are held, not lost. We ask for PAN because the Income-tax Act, 2025 requires tax to be deducted at a much higher rate without it (see section 11).
You must keep your details correct. If your phone number, bank account or UPI ID changes, update it in your profile. We may check new payout details again before the next payout goes to them.
You may start sharing your code while we review your details. Sales you make in that time are recorded on your statement and are paid once you are verified. If we cannot verify you, we will tell you why and what you can do about it.
5. How you earn: commission
You earn commission when a customer you referred buys from us and pays.
Commission is a percentage of the Net Order Value. The Net Order Value is the amount the customer actually paid for the boxes, excluding GST, delivery charges and any amount refunded. Any discount on the order reduces the Net Order Value.
Rates. The standard rate is 10% of the Net Order Value. Some boxes have their own rate, shown next to the box in your dashboard. Tiers and festival boosts can add extra percentage points, as published in the Commission and rewards rules. Before you sell, your dashboard shows the commission in rupees for each box.
All commission is paid by us. The customer never pays you anything, and the price is the same whether or not a partner is involved.
6. Which partner is credited for a sale
Every customer is identified by their mobile number. The partner code on the order decides who made the sale. The code comes from your QR code or link, from a code the customer types at checkout, or from an order you place for the customer from your dashboard. If a customer scans more than one partner's QR code, the latest scan on that phone is the one used (it is remembered for 30 days).
A customer becomes linked to you when their first order using your code is paid. If that first order is cancelled or returned, the link is removed.
| What happens | Who earns |
|---|---|
| A new customer buys using your code | You earn the full commission, and the customer is linked to you. |
| Your linked customer orders again without any partner's code | You earn the full commission on that order. |
| Your linked customer buys using another partner's code | The commission is shared: 70% to the partner who made the sale and 30% to you. The customer stays linked to you. |
| You make a sale to a customer linked to another partner | You earn 70% of the commission and the other partner earns 30%. Neither of you is told who the other partner is. |
| The customer's link has ended (see below) | The partner who makes the next sale earns in full and the customer becomes linked to them. With no code, no partner earns. |
| The order is for yourself, your household or your own business, or the customer's mobile number is your own | No commission is paid on it. |
How long a link lasts. A link lasts 3 years from the customer's most recent order. Every new order starts that period again. A link ends earlier if:
- the customer asks us to remove it or to erase their data;
- your account is closed; or
- your account is suspended. While it is suspended, orders from your linked customers are not credited to you.
Our order records decide attribution. If you think a sale was credited wrongly, see section 19.
7. When commission becomes yours
Each commission goes through these stages, shown on your earnings statement:
- Pending: the customer has paid, but the order has not yet been delivered.
- Payable: the order was delivered and 7 days have passed without a cancellation, return or refund. The commission is now yours and will be in the next payout.
- Paid: we have sent it to your account, with a transaction reference (UTR).
If an order is cancelled, returned, refunded or charged back while its commission is pending, that commission is cancelled. If only part of an order is refunded, the commission is reduced in proportion.
8. Your earnings statement is not a wallet
Your dashboard shows commission that is pending, payable and paid, and any tax deducted. It is a record of amounts we owe you. It is not a wallet, bank account, deposit or prepaid payment instrument. It earns no interest and cannot be topped up, transferred to anyone else, or used to pay for anything. Payouts go only to your own verified bank account or UPI ID.
9. Payouts
- When: we pay every Monday. Each payout includes all commission that has become payable by the payout date.
- How: by UPI or bank transfer, only to the account in your own name that we have verified. We never pay in cash, and we never pay to anyone else's account.
- Minimum: if your payable balance is below ₹100, it carries forward to the next payout. On the last payout date of each month, we pay any balance of ₹1 or more, so no money waits longer than a month.
- Proof: every payout shows the amount, the tax deducted, the account it went to (partly hidden) and the bank's transaction reference (UTR).
- Confirming: please tap "Received" or "Not received" in your dashboard. If you don't respond within 7 days, the payout is treated as received. If you tap "Not received", we check with the bank using the UTR and fix it. If a transfer fails or is returned, we pay it again after you correct your details.
Banks and UPI usually credit the same day. Occasionally a bank delay outside our control can add a working day.
10. Refunds after you have been paid
Sometimes a customer is refunded after we have already paid your commission, for example for a box damaged in transit. In that case we deduct that commission from your future commission. Every deduction appears on your statement with the order number and the reason.
We will never ask you to pay this back in cash, except where we have established fraud. A refund we give more than 90 days after delivery does not reduce your commission, unless it is a chargeback or a case of fraud.
11. Tax
Income tax (TDS). Under section 393(1) of the Income-tax Act, 2025 (earlier section 194H), we must deduct tax from commission. This applies once the commission (including cash bonuses) we credit or pay to you in a financial year goes above ₹20,000.
- The rate is 2% if we have your valid PAN, and 20% without it (section 397(2) of the Income-tax Act, 2025).
- Once you cross the limit, the law applies the tax to the whole year's commission, including amounts paid earlier in the year. The payout that crosses the limit therefore carries a larger deduction.
- We deposit the tax with the government against your PAN, and give you a TDS certificate (Form 131) for every quarter in which we deduct tax. TDS is not an extra charge. It is an advance payment of your own income tax, which you can claim when you file your return.
Rewards in kind. If we give you a reward in kind (for example, a gift or a trip), the law may require tax at 10% under section 393(1) (Table, Sl. No. 8(iv)) once such benefits pass ₹20,000 in a year. If it does, we pay that tax ourselves, so you receive the reward in full. The reward may still count as your income.
GST. If you are registered for GST, give us your GSTIN. For each payout you issue us a tax invoice for the commission, and we add GST at 18% to the payout. Tax is deducted on the amount excluding GST. If you are not registered, we pay commission without GST. You confirm that you are not required to register, and you will tell us within 7 days if you do register.
You are responsible for your own income tax and GST returns. This section explains how we deduct tax. It is not tax advice.
12. Performance rewards
We may run streaks, targets, tiers, leaderboards (top partner of the day, week, month, quarter or year), milestones and festival boosts. For each one:
- the rules are published in the Commission and rewards rules before the period starts. They state the period, what is measured, the minimum needed, how ties are decided and the reward;
- winners are decided only by measurable sales results: genuine, paid, delivered orders that are not cancelled or returned. Never by lucky draw or chance. There is no fee to take part;
- cash rewards are additional commission for your referral services, and are paid and taxed like commission;
- results are shown in your dashboard;
- changes that are less favourable to you take effect only after 15 days' notice, apply to future periods only, and never reduce anything you have already earned. A period that has already started runs to the end on its published rules.
Taking part is optional. Nothing happens to you if you do not take part.
13. Honest selling
Our customers are often visitors who have been warned about touts. Your honesty protects them, you and our name. You must:
- tell every customer that you are an independent Mysuru Grandeur partner and that you earn a commission from us;
- on social media, start each post about us with #Ad or "Paid partnership with Mysuru Grandeur" and say that you earn a commission;
- use only the product facts, prices and pictures given in your dashboard;
- never make health or medicinal claims, never claim a product is GI-certified, "royal", "original" or approved by the government or the palace unless our product page says so, and never make false scarcity or discount claims ("last box", "only today");
- never pressure or follow visitors, never say an attraction is closed to divert them, and never offer your own discounts, cashback or gifts;
- never ask a customer for extra money, tips or a different price, and never collect cash or payment for our orders. Customers pay only through our website or our payment link;
- never place an order for a customer without their agreement. The customer must confirm and pay on our page themselves;
- never run ads using our brand name as a keyword, create look-alike websites, pages or apps, or send bulk unsolicited messages.
The Partner code of conduct explains these rules in everyday language.
14. Customer information
When you place an order for a customer, or see a customer's details in your dashboard, you handle that information on our behalf and only for that order. This makes you our data processor under section 8(2) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You must:
- enter only the details needed for the order, with the customer's permission;
- not keep copies, photos or lists of customers' details, and not use them for any other purpose (including your own marketing);
- not share them with anyone; and
- tell us within 24 hours if you lose a customer's details or think they have been misused.
Your dashboard shows customers only in short form (for example "Rahul M., Bengaluru"). Disclosing personal information obtained under a contract, without consent, can be an offence under section 72A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
15. Your own personal data
How we use your information, and your rights over it, are explained in the partners' part of our Privacy notice. Your name appears on leaderboards or on our website only if you switch that on, and you can switch it off at any time.
16. Our name and materials
We give you a free, non-exclusive permission to use our name, your QR code, your partner card and the materials in your dashboard, only to refer customers to us while you are a partner. They remain ours. Do not change them, make your own price lists, or register domain names or social accounts that use our name. When your account closes, stop using them.
17. Our relationship
You are an independent partner. You decide when, where and how you refer customers. There are no targets, working hours or attendance, no exclusivity, and you are free to work with other businesses. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee, agent for any other purpose, franchisee or business partner. You cannot accept orders, make promises or sign anything on our behalf. You never buy or hold our stock.
18. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time from your profile or by writing to us.
We can close your account by giving you 15 days' notice with our reasons.
We can suspend your account immediately if we reasonably suspect fraud, fake orders, misrepresentation to customers or misuse of customer data. If we do:
- we tell you the reasons in writing (by WhatsApp or email);
- you can reply with your side within 7 days;
- we decide within 15 days of your reply and tell you the outcome with reasons.
While your account is suspended, commission on genuine sales stays on your statement. Payouts are paused until we decide.
When your account closes, we pay all payable commission. Pending commission is paid when it becomes payable, as long as the order is not cancelled or returned. We cancel commission only on orders we find to be fraudulent or in breach of section 13. There are no restrictions on what you do after you leave.
19. Questions about your commission
If you think a sale is missing, was credited to the wrong partner or was calculated wrongly, raise it from your dashboard or at /support within 30 days of the order. We will reply with our decision and reasons within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can take it to the Partner Grievance Officer (section 21).
20. Responsibility for loss
We stand behind our products. If a customer complains to you about a box you referred honestly, send them to us and we will deal with it.
You are responsible for loss you cause by fraud, by misleading customers or by misusing customer data, and you will make good any claim against us that results from it.
Apart from commission you have already earned, which we will always pay, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the three months before the claim. This limit does not apply to loss caused by our fraud or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes or bank system outages.
21. Partner Grievance Officer
If you have a complaint about the programme, your commission, a payout or how you have been treated, contact:
- [to be published], Grievance Officer
- Mysuru Grandeur, [to be published]
- Email: [to be published]
- Phone: [to be published]
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours with a ticket number, and resolve partner disputes within 15 days.
22. Law, courts and mediation
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, either of us may suggest online mediation, and we will take part in good faith. Courts at Mysuru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes under these terms.
23. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms or the commission rates. We will tell you at least 15 days before a change that is less favourable to you takes effect, by WhatsApp or email and in your dashboard. Changes apply only to orders placed after the change takes effect and never reduce commission you have already earned. If you don't agree, you may close your account before the change takes effect. Changes in your favour may apply straight away.
24. General
