Partner code of conduct
Version 1, effective 5 Oct 2026
This version takes effect on 5 Oct 2026
In short: Simple do's and don'ts for every Mysuru Grandeur partner: be honest that you earn a commission, never pressure visitors, never ask for extra money, and never collect payment for our orders.
Visitors to Mysuru are often warned about touts and commission shops. Our partners are different, and this code is how visitors can tell. It applies every time you talk about Mysuru Grandeur: in person, on the phone, on WhatsApp or on social media.
It is part of your Partner terms. Please keep a printed copy with your partner card.
Always do this
- Say that you earn a commission. For example: "I'm a Mysuru Grandeur partner. They pay me a commission if you buy, and your price is the same."
- Show your partner card or QR code when you recommend us, so the customer can check you at our website.
- Quote only the price on our website. It is the same for everyone, with or without a partner.
- Let the customer decide in their own time. A "no" is a "no".
- Use only the product details in your dashboard. If you don't know an answer, say so and send the customer to our customer care.
- On social media, start the post with #Ad or "Paid partnership with Mysuru Grandeur", and say that you earn a commission.
- Keep customers' details private. Use a customer's name, phone number or address only for the order you are helping with. Don't keep copies.
- Report problems. If a customer complains to you, or someone asks for money in our name, tell us the same day.
Never do this
- Never say an attraction is closed, full or unsafe in order to send visitors elsewhere.
- Never follow, crowd or pressure visitors, and never take them to us instead of the place they asked to go.
- Never ask for tips, extra money or a different price, and never offer your own discount, cashback or gift.
- Never collect cash or payment for our orders. Customers pay only on our website or our payment link.
- Never place an order without the customer's agreement. The customer confirms and pays on our page.
- Never claim our boxes are GI-certified, "royal", "original", from the palace or approved by the government unless our product page says so, and never make health or medicinal claims.
- Never invent urgency, such as "last box" or "price goes up tomorrow".
- Never buy boxes for yourself, your family or your business using your own code to earn commission or rewards.
- Never run ads on our brand name, make look-alike pages or accounts, or send bulk messages to people who didn't ask.
- Never post reviews of our products without saying that you are a paid partner.
If the code is broken
We look at what happened and how serious it was. You will always be told the reason in writing and can give your side.
| What happened | What we do |
|---|---|
| A first, minor slip (for example, forgetting to mention your commission) | A written reminder |
| Repeated slips, or a complaint from a customer | A written warning, and bonuses and rewards may be paused for a period |
| Pressuring visitors, false claims, asking for extra money or collecting payment | Your account is suspended while we review it, and may be closed |
| Fake orders, self-purchases for rewards, or misuse of customer data | Your account is closed. Commission and rewards on the fraudulent orders are cancelled |
Commission you earned on genuine sales is only ever taken away for fraud. For everything else, your earned commission is paid as normal. The steps and timelines for suspension are in section 18 of the Partner terms.
