Terms of sale

Version 1, effective 5 Oct 2026

This version takes effect on 5 Oct 2026

Until then, the previous version applies.

In short: The terms for buying from Mysuru Grandeur: one price for everyone shown in full before you pay, what happens if something goes wrong, and your rights under Indian consumer law, which these terms never reduce.

These terms apply when you buy from us on this website or through a payment link we send you. Please read them with our Shipping and delivery policy and our Cancellation, return and refund policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Who you are buying from

Everything on this website is sold by Mysuru Grandeur ("Mysuru Grandeur", "we", "us"), registered office [to be published].

  • GSTIN: [to be published]
  • FSSAI licence: [to be published]
  • Legal Metrology packer registration: [to be published]
  • Customer care: [to be published], [to be published], WhatsApp [to be published] (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm)

We own the boxes we sell and send them to you ourselves.

2. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you buy as a gift, you are still our customer and these terms apply to you.

3. How an order is made

  1. You choose your boxes and enter your details. Checkout shows the total amount payable as one figure, with a breakup of the price of the boxes, any delivery charge, any cash-on-delivery fee and the GST included.
  2. Nothing is added after you press the button to pay. There are no pre-ticked extras.
  3. Your order is your offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm the order with an order number, by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and on your order page.

If a box becomes unavailable after you have paid, we will tell you before dispatch. You can then choose a full refund or a replacement of equal or higher value at no extra cost. We will never substitute an item without your agreement.

4. Prices

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees. The maximum retail price (MRP) shown is inclusive of all taxes.
  • The price is the same for everyone, whether you found us yourself or through a partner. Nobody, including our partners, may charge you more than the price on our website.
  • If we show a reduced price, we also show the lowest price at which the box was sold in the previous 30 days.
  • If a price was shown wrongly because of an obvious error, we will tell you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund. We will not charge you more than the price you agreed to.

5. If a partner introduced you

You may have been introduced to us by an independent Mysuru Grandeur partner, such as a tour guide, driver, hotel, restaurant or shop. Partners receive a commission from us; it never changes your price. Partners are not our employees. They cannot change prices, collect payment for us, accept returns, or make promises about our products beyond what our product pages say.

Your orders may be linked to the partner who first introduced you, so they can be credited for later orders. Our Privacy notice explains how this works and how to remove the link. See also How our partners work.

If a partner asks you for extra money, a tip or payment in cash, please don't pay, and tell us at [to be published].

6. Products

  • Handcrafted items (such as wooden boxes, inlay work and silk) are made by hand. Small differences in grain, colour, weave and size are part of the craft and are not defects. Photos show a typical example.
  • Material claims such as "rosewood", "pure silk" or "sandalwood" describe the real material used.
  • Food items carry the maker's label with ingredients, allergens and best-before date. A box's best-before date is that of its earliest-expiring food item, and is shown on the product page. Please store food as the label says.
  • Soap, perfume and incense are for external use. If you have sensitive skin, try a little first.
  • Each product page shows the details required by law: contents and quantities, net quantity, MRP, the packer, country of origin, best-before information and our FSSAI licence number.

7. Payment

  • Online payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. We never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
  • If online payment is not available, checkout may offer payment by UPI transfer to our account. Pay only to the UPI ID shown on our own website or order page, and enter the transaction reference (UTR). We confirm your order once the payment reaches us.
  • Cash on delivery is available only if it is offered at checkout for your order. Any fee for it is shown before you place the order.
  • Pay only on our website or payment link. Partners never collect money for us.

8. Invoice

We issue a GST tax invoice for every order. You can download it from your order page, and we also send it to you. For gifts, the invoice goes to you, not to the recipient, and the parcel carries no price.

9. Delivery, cancellation, returns and refunds

These are covered in our Shipping and delivery policy and our Cancellation, return and refund policy. In short: you can cancel free of charge until dispatch; tell us within 72 hours of delivery if anything arrives damaged, wrong or missing; and refunds go back to the way you paid.

10. Your rights under the law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law. This includes your right to a replacement or refund for goods that are defective, deficient, spurious, not as described or delivered late.

11. Our responsibility

We are responsible for the boxes we sell and for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as floods, strikes or courier network shutdowns. If such an event delays your order, we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund.

12. Complaints

Our Grievance Officer is [to be published], Grievance Officer. Email [to be published], phone [to be published], address [to be published]. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours, give you a ticket number and a copy of your complaint as we recorded it, and resolve it within one month. See our Grievance redressal page.

13. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach a Consumer Commission where you live or work, courts at Mysuru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
